What do we do?

What do we do?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations.  At

Gavelkind lodge which is part of the  Province of West Kent we follow the key principles of masonry of Brotherly Love (compassion for your fellow men), Relief (care and support for those in need) and Truth (honesty and integrity).

Freemasonry is a great way to meet new friends, gain new experiences, enjoy social events, raise money for charity and quite simply have some fun. We come from different backgrounds, different age groups and experiences so if you are interested in joining a vibrant lodge then take a look at the ‘Want To Join’ Page.

If you would like more information on Freemasonry we invite you to take a look at the UGLE (United Grand Lodge of England) website
